A red wine tsunami

This is the moment a fountain of red wine erupted from a 50,000-litre tank at a winery. Spectacular images comes from Spain where a a 50,000-litre wine tank spilled its contents onto the floor.

A jet of wine erupted from the tank at the Bodegas Vitivinos winery in Villamalea and it is believed that a break in one of the vats caused the explosion of wine.

Footage shared on social media, shows a group of large metal wine tanks at the Bodegas Vitivinos winery in Villamalea, who was founded in 1969, with a production of 6,000,000 kilos of grapes.

The video was originally shared on social media yesterday by “Radio Albacete” and has been liked 40,000 times and has been retweeted more than 34,000 times.

A sea of red soon covers the entire area as it spreads out underneath vehicles parked nearby. Winery workers can only watch helpless as the thousands of liters of wine slowly drain away into a nearby field. “Radio Albacete” has reported that a break in one of the vats may have caused the wine to break free of the tank.
